This is a review for the care I received for my TMJ disorder (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder) :) My mom found an article about addressing TMJ problems through chiropractic care by Dr. Kim. So we decided to try receive his chiropractic care since the dental route of trying to address it was going to cost way too much. Immediately the first day adjustment brought comfort already and most pain and discomfort went away. I knew I would be coming back again to get it treated. Also, another great thing Dr. Kim is good at is explaining the source of pain and how his care could help with addressing it. He also is knowledgeable in how our body, joints and muscles operate and has taught me during our sessions. That has helped me to understand my body better and do things differently to minimize and decrease my pain throughout my day. I think this is important knowledge we should know so that we can live healthier active lives but sadly, not many doctors take the time to explain it all to you and its hard to learn on your own on the internet (I tried!). But Dr. Kim teaches these things to me, and that is why I encourage people to see him to receive care and learn about your body and how to get your body to move and take care of it to have a healthy body and lifestyle.

When I went to see Dr. Kim I could not sleep for more than 4-5 hours without waking up to a very strong (from 1 -10 it was 10) back pain and had to walk it off for a 1-2 hours before I could sleep for another 1-2 hours. The problem was that during the day I did not feel any pain and even lifted weights without any pain so nobody could diagnose my condition correctly. I have read on the internet that people were going with this condition for over 20 years without any help. Dr. Kim had diagnosed my condition right away. His techniques do not stop only on chiropractor treatment but also combines heat and massage like treatments during a single session. He spends a lot of time with a patient: 3-4 times longer than my previous chiropractor. Also he provides a post rehabilitation exercises that helped me greatly to get to a healthier state of my backbone. I have no pain at night now and my backbone getting straighter and stronger every day.
